Introduction
This research aims at surveying grade 3 students at Timberlawn Elementary School. The main purpose of the research is to assess classroom teaching or curriculum. The study will assess the materials that instructors prefer to choose while conducting their lessons to achieve the key objectives. These duties require student involvement and the student’s perception regarding examinations and the general curriculum. The research will also focus on the ties between teaching, testing, and learning. The research population will include sixty-four students in grade three and all their instructors. Descriptive statistics will be used in analyzing the data collected. Open-ended questionnaires will be conducted to collect firsthand information from the participants. All teachers will be involved to ensure that the study aims are met.
Selection Criteria
The study will be conducted at the school premises starting 8 a.m to 3 p.m. The school principal will send invitation letters to all participants in grade 3. For one to qualify to be a participant, he or she ought to be a grade three learner, aged between eight to nine years and can be either male or female, regardless of their ethnic backgrounds. The study participants will be informed a week before the scheduled date. All the students in grade three will be involved, implying that there will be 39 male participants and 25 female participants. Involving all students in the study will eliminate biasness and also will maximize results. Since not all students will successfully submit their feedback, a completion rate of about 75% will be expected to give room for incomplete and destroyed surveys. All teachers will be included, regardless of their employment terms, gender, ethnicity, or area of specialization.
Survey Instruments
